Introduction

There are 3 walks in total in Grade 1 - 1 walk each season. The walks follow the same theme: what animals need to live and grow and how they cope with seasonal changes. Bugs and birds are the main animals considered as they are more easily observed.

Winter

There is no worksheet in the winter. The main focus of the walk, when there is snow on the ground, is the identification of animal tracks.
