Introduction

There are only 2 scheduled walks in 5th Grade. The first in the Fall is not really a 'walk' but an opportunity for students to observe closely, draw and label plant parts. The concept of Photosynthesis is also introduced.

In the Spring, an ecosystem is observed and food chains explored in some detail.
