Welcome to the Bowman PTA's site. These pages will make available some of the PTA forms and joint PTA/school forms that help make the school and the PTA run more smoothly. You can find links to the Directory sign up form, PTA membership form and a link to sign up for the PTA Yahoo discussion list in the links box to the right. We will also have forms for the PTA run clubs and events as they come up during the year, so remember to check back occasionally.
ROLE OF THE PTA
The PTA’s role is to bring the parents, the teachers, and the school staff together so that they can unite their efforts in educating Bowman children.
PARTICIPATING AND VOLUNTEERING
PTA meetings and activities are open to the entire Bowman community, and we would love to see you attend. Bowman’s fabric is woven from a variety of threads. Everyone has something unique to bring to the table. Please consider volunteering. It is a great way to get to know the other parents, the staff, and the terrific Bowman students. There are opportunities for all schedules and personalities such as volunteering in the library, leading a Big Backyard nature hike, becoming a room parent, and working on a fundraiser.
NOTE FROM DEPARTING PTA CO-PRESIDENTS
It has been a rewarding experience to serve the Bowman community in the capacity for the past two years. Thank you very much for giving us the opportunity and for supporting the PTA's endeavors.
